We may collect the following personal data: your name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title (submitted via our contact form or email correspondence); your IP address, browser type, and pages visited (collected automatically via cookies and analytics); and photographs and video footage of you or your employees (captured during commissioned shoots).
3. How We Use Your Data
We process your personal data for the following purposes: to respond to enquiries and provide quotes (legal basis: legitimate interest); to deliver photography, videography, and content services you have commissioned (legal basis: contractual necessity); to send occasional updates about our services, if you have opted in (legal basis: consent); and to improve our website performance and user experience (legal basis: legitimate interest).
4. Photographs and Visual Content
Images and videos captured during commissioned sessions remain the property of SparkleUp Studios unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may use select images in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless the client requests exclusion in writing prior to or at the time of the shoot. Client approval is sought before any images featuring identifiable individuals are used publicly.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted third-party processors who assist in delivering our services, including cloud hosting providers (Vercel, Cloudflare), email service providers (Zoho Mail), freelance photographers and videographers engaged for your project (limited to project-specific information), and offshore post-production editors (images only, no personal contact information). All processors are bound by data protection agreements.
6. Data Retention
Contact form submissions and correspondence: retained for 24 months from last interaction. Project files (photographs, videos): retained for 12 months after delivery unless otherwise agreed. Analytics data: retained for 26 months (Google Analytics default).
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sparkleupstudios.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.
